Supply Chain Internationalization Survey
Supply Chains are rapidly becoming more international and more complex than
ever. The traditional requirements are increasingly more demanding: cost
effectiveness, agility, flexibility, adaptability, innovation and
reliability.
In the Supply Chain Internalization survey sponsored by Spin Consulting, we
asked senior executives across a wide range of industries about the major Supply
Chain challenges that they are
facing in the process of international expansion or international integration of
local and regional
operations. Survey respondents were carefully selected from a number of
different sectors, including food, beverages, paper, pharmaceutical, home and
personal care, electronics, packaging, among others.
We will start by looking each of the major areas in the Supply Chain
(procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics and order management) and,
thereafter will expand by looking the end-to-end Supply Chain and analyze the
wider spectrum of the Supply Chain Internationalization challenges, taking in
consideration the various relevant dimensions: people and organization,
processes, tools and systems, investments and partnerships.
